Coffee Prices Fall Again; Corn, Soybeans Drop

NEW YORK (AP) —

Coffee futures are falling again, extending a recent decline. Corn and soybean prices are also lower.

Metals prices are mixed.

Coffee has fallen for 10 straight days, as investors worry that Brazil’s crop next year will be huge, increasing global supplies. The December contract fell 1.55 cents to $1.0755 a pound Monday.

Corn and soybean futures fell 2 percent. December corn fell 9.25 cents to $4.3075 a bushel, and November soybeans fell 28.75 cents to $12.7125 a bushel. December wheat lost 9.75 cents to $6.81 a bushel, a decline of 1 percent.

Gold for December delivery edged down 30 cents to $1,352.20 an ounce.
