Lakewood Cop, Citizen Save Young Boy’s Life
A Lakewood police officer and a citizen saved the life of a four-year-old boy who stopped breathing Tuesday afternoon.
Officer Sean Doyle was in a parking lot when the child’s father drove in. The child had no pulse and his lips were turning blue. The father handed the child to Doyle, who used his radio to call for emergency responders. He then started breathing resuscitation efforts and was soon joined by a citizen who successfully gave the child CPR.
The boy was taken to a hospital, where he was in critical but stable condition.
