Accident in Crown Heights Injures Three Pedestrians on Yom Tov
A horrific car accident on the corner of Kingston Avenue and Eastern Parkway on Rosh Hashanah injured several people.
A black Hyundai and white Infiniti collided on busy Eastern Parkway at Kingston Avenue just before 7 p.m. Thursday. The white SUV hopped the curb and hit at least three pedestrians.
Seven people were hurt in all; the 3 injured pedestrians were Lubavitchers.
A 20-year-old woman was injured critically with internal injuries; another woman, around 40 years old, had her leg severed. They are both visitors from Israel. A young man suffered head trauma as well, from a falling street lamp.
The four other injured people were all inside of the vehicles. Two people suffered minor injuries and went to the hospital. Two others refused medical attention.
