De Blasio Tracking Public Housing Repair Requests

NEW YORK

Public Advocate Bill de Blasio on Friday launched a site that will track repair requests at each of the 334 public housing developments in the city, including several Orthodox complexes in Williamsburg and Boro Park.

Topping the list on NYCHAwatchlist.com were Harlem’s Grant Houses, with 6,203 repairs that have waited on average for 344 days.

For the 400,000 people living in public housing, the new site displays every repair order by ticket number and the length of time it has gone uncorrected.

Included on the list are Independence and Taylor housing in Williamsburg.
