Newark Airport to Get Four New Taxiways

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) —

The Port Authority will spend more than $97 million to construct four new taxiways designed to help reduce ground delays at Newark Liberty International Airport.

The Port Authority estimates it will save 30 seconds per flight. Work is slated to begin in 2014.
