Elderly Woman Killed by Rock Falling From Truck
A 76-year-old woman from Nahariya was killed in a road accident on Sunday in northern Israel when a rock fell off a moving truck and hit her car, crushing her, according to media reports.
The tragedy occurred on Route 85 between Kfar Rama and Carmiel. The woman’s daughter, who was driving the car, was also moderately hurt.
The driver of the truck did not stop, and police set up roadblocks to find him. Police say that the driver may not have been aware of the rock that fell from his truck.
