The Port Authority honored two people who came to the aid of a woman who fell on the PATH rail tracks in Jersey City in April.

Port Authority Police Chief Louis Koumoutsos on Wednesday presented Lalit Moorjani of Piscataway and Stanley Eady of Bayonne with certificates of appreciation for their efforts.

The men sprang into action when the woman fell on the tracks at the Grove Street station on April 22. Wednesday’s ceremony took place near the 9-11 Memorial at the Journal Square PATH Station in Jersey City.
