Hagaon Harav Ovadia Yosef, shlita, Released From Hospital
Hagaon Harav Ovadia Yosef, shlita, was released from Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Yerushalayim on Tuesday morning after an improvement in his condition.
Harav Yosef had been hospitalized on Sunday after weeks of suffering from severe back pain.
After a series of tests, doctors diagnosed the source of the pain as a fracture to one of the vetebrae in his lower back.
However, after an improvement in his condition, doctors decided against surgery in the meantime, and that his condition was satisfactory enough to allow Harav Yosef to return home, in hopes that in time the fracture will heal itself.
The public is asked to continue to be mispallel for a refuah shleimah for Harav Ovadia ben Georgia.
