Hagaon Harav Ovadia Yosef Hospitalized, in Stable Condition
Hagaon Harav Ovadia Yosef, shlita, collapsed in his home in Har Nof on Sunday, and Magen Dovid Adom paramedics who rushed to the scene took him to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
Harav Yosef was reported to be conscious and in stable condition, though he reportedly injured his foot during the fall.
During his Shabbos shiur, Harav Yosef, who has repeatedly expressed his anguish over the campaign to force yeshivah students into the army, asked for Selichos to be recited on Thursday (Yom Kippur Kattan mukdam), to ask Hashem to undo the government draft recommendations.
The tzibbur is asked to daven for Harav Ovadia ben Georgia.
