3rd Murder Conviction in Cop’s Death
Policeman Peter Figoski’s mother held her hands over her mouth and cried Wednesday as a third man was convicted of murder in the December 2011 death of her son.
About two dozen officers applauded the prosecutors outside the Brooklyn courtroom after Kevin Santos was pronounced guilty.
Figoski was shot as officers interrupted the robbery of a drug dealer. Two other defendants were convicted of murder at separate trials. Santos’s lawyer said he will appeal.
