Senator Says NJ Laws May Make Him Move Business

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) —

The ranking Republican of the state Senate’s budget committee says New Jersey is so over-regulated and over-taxed that he would move his manufacturing company out of state if he wasn’t a senator.

Sen. Tony Bucco of Denville says state regulations cost him $50,000 a year.

“I’ve said this before and I’ve said it here, if I were not a state senator, I’d move my business to Pennsylvania,” Bucco told a Senate budget hearing.
