MTA Fasttrack Repairs Begin This Week on N,Q,R

NEW YORK (AP) —

The MTA’s Fasttrack repairs will cause disruptions on the N, Q and R lines, beginning Monday.

There will be no trains at N, Q, and R stations in Manhattan.

N trains will run in Queens and Brooklyn only.

Q trains will be rerouted via the D Sixth Avenue line in Manhattan, to and from the 57th Street F station.

R service will end early in Manhattan and Queens.

The MTA gives these alternatives:

Riders can use nearby stations on the Eighth Avenue A; Seventh Avenue 1 and 2; Sixth Avenue D, E, F, and Q and the Lexington Avenue 4 and 6.

Riders can take the 7 for service between Queens and Manhattan.

N trains will make local R stops between Jay Street-Metro Tech and 36th Street.
