Truck Hits N.J. Turnpike Toll Collector

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) —

A truck hit a toll collector on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mercer County.

State Police Sgt. Brian Polite says it happened around 11 a.m. Thursday at Interchange 7A. The woman’s condition is not known, and police are questioning the truck driver to determine what happened. Turnpike Authority spokesman Tom Feeney says the injuries appear serious.
