The Committee to Bring Jonathan Pollard Home has announced a rally in support of Pollard’s release to be held on the eve of President Obama’s arrival in Israel.

At the rally, on Tuesday March 19, 6:30 p.m., outside of the President’s Residence in Yerushalayim, a petition calling for Pollard’s freedom will be submitted to President Peres for hand-delivery to President Obama. To date some 150,000 people have signed the petition, with numbers rising all the time.

This rally is sanctioned by the Pollards, who work with the Committee, and has no connection to any protest that might disrupt Obama’s visit or show disrespect for the president, something the Pollards have strongly discouraged.
