Official Logo for Obama Visit Chosen
Israel has chosen an official logo for the upcoming visit of U.S. President Barack Obama.
The image combines the Israeli and U.S. flags. Underneath is the legend: “Unbreakable Alliance — President Obama in Israel 2013” in Hebrew and English. It will appear on all official signs and documents pertaining to the visit.
Choice of the design was made by public vote on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s internet page, held over a two-day period.
The official logo was selected from among three which were designed by graphic artists chosen by the Government Advertising Agency.
The winner received 66.8% of the thousands of votes.
