Nannies in the Park

A letter writer in the March 7 Hamodia mentions nannies in the park ignoring their charges. I witnessed a nanny to twin babies shopping for herself in Fox’s back in August. One baby cried and cried, but the nanny was busy with her shopping. Finally I went over and asked whether maybe the baby needs a pacifier or to be held. She said no, and did nothing to try to get the baby to stop crying. Everyone else was oblivious to this. I wonder what the mother would do if she were aware of the neglect to her babies.
