Hashem Is Watching

In Parashas Mishpatim, we learn that there are two types of thieves. A gazlan steals in broad daylight, while a ganav steals in secret, when no person watches. The Torah commands a gazlan to reimburse his theft& in full; however, a ganav pays back double, because he has demonstrated that his fear of people exceeds his fear of Hashem.

NYC police have installed hidden cameras to track our driving. This month of Teves, let us try to make a kiddush Hashem while driving, not because the police are watching — but because Hashem is watching.
