Harav Nassan Nute Moskowitz, Zt”l
The petirah on Sunday of Harav Nassan Nute Moskowitz, zt”l, Dayan of Belz, Antwerp, shook the community who had been davening for his refuah following heart surgery. He was 65.
Harav Moskowitz was known for his bekius in all areas of learning, and in his position as one of the prominent rabbanim of the city, as well as his dayanus in the Belz community.
Like his father, Harav Avraham Yaakov Moskowitz, zt”l, he, too, was known for his open home, hachnassas orchim and maasei chessed.
The levayah will take place on Sunday afternoon in Antwerp, after which he will be brought to Yerushalayim for kevurah.
