BD’E, Reb Dovid Wasserteil z”l
With great sorrow we received the news that Reb Dovid Wasserteil, z”l, was niftar on Yom Tov afternoon. He was a prominent Gerer Chassid, the gabbai of the Gerer shtibel on 49th St., the first Gerer shtibel in Boro Park. He was also the nosi of the Gerer kollel in New York until his passing.
The levayah was held Motzoei Yom Tov in Boro Park in Shomrei Hachomos on the way for kevurah in Eretz Yisroel. The mittah was accompanied by his two sons, Reb Shaul and Rav Chaim , Riminov – Brooklyn Rebbe.
They will return to New York on Wednesday morning to sit shivah in the house of the niftar.
The levayeh will be 11pm Israeli time from Shamgar to burial on Har Hazeisim.
Shiva will be in Bnei Braq , Rechov Rebbe Akiva 93 until Tuesday night.
