23 Terrorists Arrested Over Weekend

In a wide-ranging sweep over the weekend, security officials said they arrested 23 wanted security suspects in areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.

Security forces also raided several homes in villages in the Binyamin region looking for illegal weapons. Weapons were found in a home in the village of Kafr Malek. The weapons were confiscated and residents of the house were taken in for questioning.

On Motzoei Shabbos, security forces in Yerushalayim arrested several Arabs who were throwing firebombs at the rear entrance of Hadassah Har Hatzofim Hospital. The Arabs were caught in the act throwing the firebombs and tried to run away, but were arrested a few minutes later. They were arrested and taken in for questioning. No injuries were reported in the incident.
