5 Bungalows in Camp Shira Destroyed in Fire; No Injuries

Five bungalows in Camp Shira were destroyed in a fire early Thursday morning. There were no injuries.

Capt. Mike Bastone of the Monticello Fire Department said the first alarm was sounded around 5:15 a.m., and the fire was brought under control in about an hour.

An initial determination by investigators is that the fire was caused by electrical wires brought down by the wind.
