IDF soldiers arrested two Gaza Arabs who infiltrated into Israel Thursday morning. The two were found to be carrying knives and wire cutters. They were arrested and are being questioned by security officials. IDF troops were on very high alert, preparing for mass riots Hamas is planning at the Gaza border fence Friday.

The infiltration Thursday was the third one this week. On Wednesday, IDF soldiers arrested an Arab who snuck into Israel from Gaza, and on Tuesday, three Gaza terrorists were captured near Kibbutz Tze’elim in southern Israel after they breached the border fence. They were found to be carrying knives and hand grenades, and were on their way to rendezvous with other terrorists, preparing for an attack to be carried out this week, days before Pesach.

IDF forces confiscated terror funds from terrorists in Chevron. Soldiers confiscated tens of thousands of shekels in the operation. The money was part of payments made by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to the families of terrorists for committing terror acts against Israelis, officials said.

In a wide-ranging sweep overnight Sunday, security officials said they arrested 26 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
