Two Jewish Men Injured After Car Drives Into Store in Golders Green, London

A car smashed into a pharmacy next to a kosher food store in Golders Green, London, Wednesday, injuring two Jewish men, one in a serious condition.

The two were injured in the collision which saw a silver Jaguar mount the sidewalk and plow into a store.

Witnesses at the scene saw the car mount the sidewalk and hit one man. As the car sped along the pavement, it knocked down an elderly man before smashing into the pharmacy.

Barnet Police officers, the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended the scene and found a car in collision with a pedestrian and a shop.

The London Air Ambulance landed in a nearby playing field to take one of those injured in the crash to hospital. He was reported to have life-threatening injuries.

London’s Shomrim have continued to liaise with Barnet Police regarding the accident.

The main Golders Green Road was temporarily closed with the emergency services deal with the scene.

Scotland Yard confirmed that they are dealing with the incident as a ‘road traffic collision’ and no arrests have been made.

All are asked to daven for Dovid Moshe ben Rochel and Shimon ben Zehorah, who are in need of tefillos for a refuah sheleimah.
