Palestinian Teen Killed in Rioting Near Ramallah

RAMALLAH (AP/Hamodia) —

A Palestinian hospital official said a teenager was killed in rioting when Israeli troops fired at an armed protester.

Fathi Abu Mughli, director of Istishari Hospital, said Musab Tamemi, 17, was shot in the neck. Residents of the village of Dir Nizam, near Ramallah, said protesters were clashing with Israeli forces.

Israel’s military said soldiers opened fire at a protester with a gun during the rioting.

About three dozen Palestinians were hurling stones at Israeli security forces at the time of the shooting, the IDF said.

The IDF said it is reviewing the incident.
