Israeli security forces thwarted a terror attack in Yerushalayim on Sunday.
Acting on intelligence warning of a specific terror plot, Israel Police and the Shin Bet raided a house in the Beit Safafa neighborhood of the capital, near Gilo, where they reportedly shot and neutralized the terrorist.
“A police force, together with the Shin Bet, operated in the southern portion of the capital following security warnings which were received, leading to the location of a suspect in Beit Safafa,” the police spokesperson said.
The suspect was then taken into police custody for questioning.
