50th Yahrtzeit, Kopyczynitzer Rebbe, Kopyczynitz, Kapishnitz, Kapishnitzer Rebbe, Zishe Heschel, Zushe Heschel, Avraham Heschel, Nosson Gurary — A yahrtzeit seudah marking the 50th yahrtzeit of the Kopyczynitzer Rebbe, zy”a, Harav Avraham Yehoshua Heschel, took place at the Kopyczynitzer beis medrash in Boro Park. The tisch was conducted by his grandson, the current Kopyczynitzer Rebbe, shlita.
Among those who addressed the assembled were Harav Ephraim Yehudah Portugal, Rav of Skulen in Monsey, and son of the Skulener Rebbe, shlita; and Harav Nosson Gurary, a Lubavitcher mashpia in Monsey, and grandson of the Kopyczynitzer Rebbe, zy”a.
