Errant Fire Lands in Golan Near PM Netanyahu

Just a few minutes after Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu finished a speech at Katzrin on the Golan Heights, errant fire from across the border in Syria again landed on the Israeli side, not far from where he had been standing.

B’chasdei Shamayim, no injuries or damage to property were reported.

Israel struck Assad regime targets soon after the incident in response.

PM Netanyahu was in Katzrin for a ceremony marking 40 years since the establishment of the town.

“We are always amazed that there is still someone who says we will return the Golan,” said the prime minister in his remarks.”The Golan is ours and the Golan will always be ours. The Golan is ours because it belonged to our forefathers, and because it was taken back by us due to Syrian aggression.”
