Not heretofore known as a vacation spot, the town of Ra’anana now has its own hotel. The Prima Millenium is located in the city’s high-tech industrial zone, and is aimed at business travelers visiting the many tech companies that have facilities in the area. However the hotel’s 140 rooms will also cater to families; along with conference rooms for business meetings, the hotel features larger rooms, geared to families celebrating events such as Shabbos of bar mitzvah, sheva brachos or the like.

According to the Prima chain, the hotel was opened “as we discovered that there was a market that was not being served. The growth of high-tech centers in the Sharon, in cities like Ra’anana, along with the problem of traffic into and out of the Tel Aviv area, has caused business people to seek accommodations closer to the sites where they need to do business. In addition, the location provides residents of Ra’anana and other Sharon cities with facilities to celebrate family events.”

Ra’anana Mayor Ze’ev Bielski said “we are proud to host the first hotel in Ra’anana geared toward business customers. We have no doubt that the presence of a high-quality hotel, together with the advanced transportation system we have in Ra’anana will make the high-tech industrial zone even more popular and bring more companies, and more customers, to the benefit of all city residents.”
