Terror-Cell Members in Shechem Arrested

Security forces released for publication on Thursday that the IDF in cooperation with the Shin Bet apprehended in Shechem members of a terror cell that attempted a bombing on a road leading to the Israeli town of Alon Moreh. B’chasdei Shamayim, no one was harmed in the incident, which occurred three weeks ago.

In the course of an investigation four residents of the refugee camp Askar in Shechem were detained for questioning. They confessed to having planned and attempted to carry out a combined bomb and shooting attack on Israeli soldiers stationed on the Alon Moreh route. A bomb was planted and exploded, but no injuries were reported.
Security forces uncovered a factory to make bombs and other weapons, which they confiscated.

Indictment are expected to be filed against the suspects within the coming days.
