El Al punctuality has improved significantly since settlement of its pilots’ strike, according to a survey taken in February, Globes reported.

Sixty-six percent of El Al flights came in on time, and lateness averaged 41 minutes, said FlightStats, which tracks airline performance and gives up-to-date information on flights around the world.

The Israeli flagship airline has in the past posted miserable statistics: In June 2016, it came in last—40th of 40 airlines surveyed—with more late arrivals of 15 minutes or more than all the other carriers.

The Spanish airline Iberia won first place in February, with a 92 percent on-time record. Delta, Lufthansa and Alitalia were close behind with 87 percent on time.

Air India took over last place, only 51 percent of its flights landing on time.

The average proportion for all airlines was 80 percent punctuality.
