New Crosswalks Coming to Intersections in Boro Park

BROOKLYN

Newly enhanced crosswalks are coming this summer to three dangerous intersections in Boro Park, Councilman David Greenfield announced.

The walks will feature “yield” signage and will be installed on 21st Avenue at 57th and 58th streets, as well as 17th Avenue at 57th Street. Speed humps will be installed on 21st Avenue from 53rd to 60th streets.

“The year 2016 was the safest on record, and Brooklyn led all boroughs in cutting down on traffic fatalities,” Greenfield said. “But we can and must do better.”
