Man Stabbed and Wounded at the Tziyun of Tosher Rebbe, Zy”a

A stabbing attack at the tziyun of the Tosher Rebbe, zy”a, early Friday, left a man with slight injuries.

The attack took place after a late night minyan, which had come to the kever to recite Tehillim after chatzos, had finished. One man, who had stayed on to say Tehillim, heard something suspicious in the electric-power room adjacent to the tziyun. He looked around and saw two teenagers with a long knife and a cutter. When they noticed him, they forced him into the Kohanim room, and started to beat him up. He was left with a number of cuts and bruises. The two went on to cut up the pushkes and left. The man had on his speed dial the number of the local Shomrim, so he called Shomrim who forwarded the call to Hatzolah and police.

B’chasdei Shamayim, he only incurred slight injuries, and will probably only need a few stitches. They are still waiting for X-ray to see if his hands are ok.

Police arrived at the scene within moments and began searching for the perpetrators.
