The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) head, Gen. Yoav Mordechai, revealed over an Arabic broadcasting channel on Tuesday that two Hamas operatives were caught on video as they recruited Gaza residents with permits to enter Israel for the purpose of smuggling four-wheel drive vehicles for terrorist activities.

The footage also clearly showed how the two Hamas men were coercing people into transferring information, equipment and money to Hamas prisoners and terror networks in Yehudah and Shomron.

In June 2016, COGAT disclosed that a Hamas member, Muhammud Yunis Mustafa, was arrested while attempting to smuggle $50,000 to Hamas contacts in Chevron.
