Crane Falls in Tel Aviv, No Injuries
B’chasdei Shamayim, there were no injuries in the collapse of a crane at a construction site for the light rail system in Tel Aviv on Thursday afternoon, Arutz Sheva reported.
The incident occurred as the crane was being loaded onto a truck; it fell and wrecked the cabin of the truck.
Police and the Ministry of Labor and Social Services opened an inquiry into the cause of the accident.
In another construction-site story, also on Thursday afternoon, a 31-year old man was moderately injured at a building site on Yordei Hayam street in Ashkelon.
Paramedics and emergency personnel of MDA treated the man and evacuated him to the hospital with severe leg injuries.
