Over 1,000 Jews davened on Monday night at Kever Yosef in Shechem. Twenty-four buses entered the city under heavy IDF guard, transporting the visitors to the site from all parts of the country.

Over the past month – the last time Jews were allowed to visit the site – Arabs have been busy vandalizing Kever Yosef, and the results were visible, with broken glass and windows, restrooms completely destroyed, and furniture broken. Several of the buses were attacked with firebombs, and damage occurred. There were no Israeli injuries.

Overnight Monday, security officials said they arrested 7 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
