Heavy Rain to Drench NYC Area Friday
The New York City metropolitan area may see drenching rains through Friday night, with a soaking of two or more inches an hour. A flash flood watch is in effect from Thursday night until Friday evening by the National Weather Service. Scenes such as occurred Monday, when epic flash floods sent foot-high puddles splashing through Boro Park and Flatbush, are possible.
