Security Forces Thwart Stabbing Attempt at Kalandiya Checkpoint

An 18-year-old Palestinian woman was shot in the legs after she attempted to stab IDF soldiers at the Kalandiya checkpoint, near Yerushalayim, Tuesday afternoon, police said.
No security forces or civilians were wounded.
Her attempt to cross the car lane by foot aroused the suspicion of the security guards at the checkpoint. When the guards called on her to stop, she lunged towards them but they managed to apprehend her. Later they discovered a knife in her bag.
