Cabinet Approves Appointment of Liberman as Defense Minister

The Cabinet on Monday morning unanimously approved Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman as defense minister, as a coalition crisis was resolved, paving the way for the Cabinet vote.
In other appointments approved at the Cabinet meeting, Yisrael Beytenu MK Sofa Landver was approved as Absorption and Aliyah Minister and the Likud’s Tzachi Hanegbi was approved as a Minister Without Portfolio in the Prime Minister’s Office.
