Firebombing on Mt. Scopus, 2 Lightly Injured
Two border policewomen were injured by two Molotov cocktails thrown at them near their base in Yerushalayim on Wednesday, Ynet reported.
They were lightly injured by a fire which broke out on the base as a result of the firebombs attack.
The incident occurred at the Ofrit base, which is located adjacent to Hebrew University on Mt. Scopus. Security forces began a search for the perpetrator.
Yerushalayim district firefighters’ spokesman said that four firefighting units, including a water vehicle, were on the scene to extinguish the brush-fire at Ofrit base which started as a result of the Molotov cocktail attack.
The fire posed no immediate danger to the base.
