Report: Secret U.S. Base in Israel to Counter Iranian Missiles

The United States is building a secret base in central Israel to counter the Iranian missile threat, Walla News reported on Thursday, citing security sources.

The base, which is designed to withstand missile attack, is already in advanced stages of construction, and will be operational at all times to meet an emergency.

The base is linked to the U.S. army’s radar facility in Dimona, the report also stated.

Recent ballistic missiles tests conducted by the Islamic Republic in defiance of sanctions have led to concern both in Israel and the American defense establishments, hence the new base.
