Islamic Jihad Video Threatens Israel With Anti-Tank Missles

YERUSHALAYIM -

The Palestinian terror group Islamic Jihad published a video on Tuesday in which it appeared to threaten the use of anti-tank missiles against the IDF along the border with the Gaza Strip.

In the short clip, set to ominous music, armed and camouflage-uniformed members of the terrorist group’s al-Quds Brigades are seen setting up what appears to be a Sagger anti-tank missile. The video includes footage of an IDF vehicle apparently moving along the Israeli side of the security fence perimeter around the coastal enclave, shown as if seen through a weapon’s sights, The Times of Israel said.

The Sagger missile, first produced by Russia in the 1960s, has a range of about 1.3 miles and can penetrate 200 millimeters of armor plating.
