Security Forces Raid Weapons Stashes in Yehudah and Shomron

The IDF launched a major campaign to locate weapons and ammunition in the hands of terrorist groups in Yehudah and Shomron to head off their use in any escalation of attacks in the future.

In coordination with other security forces on Tuesday night, the military conducted a sweep focused on the city of Shechem and its environs.

The operation netted 6 rifles, 5 pistols, weapons parts, grenades and other arms. As well, 7 terror operatives who had been hiding weapons in their homes were arrested.

In Kfar Mitlon, 2 pistols, 3 commando knives, a grenade, weapons parts and IDF protective vests were found.

At the same time, other units continued to capture terrorists on the wanted lists. Security forces arrested 19 persons. Of them, 7 have been involved in terrorist activities and civil disorders.
