IDF Eliminates Terrorists Who Opened Fire

Arab terrorists on Sunday morning opened fire on IDF soldiers in northern Shomron, the IDF said. The incident occurred near the village of Arka, outside Jenin. The soldiers returned fire, eliminating the two terrorists who had fired at them.

The two terrorists were identified by the Palestinian Health Ministry as Nihad Raed Muhammad Waked and Fouad Marwan Khaled Waked, both 15-years-old. They were from the same extended family in the village of Arka, but were not close relatives.

B’chasdei Shamayim, there were no injuries to Israeli forces.

In an earlier incident, IDF soldiers discovered a bomb that had been rigged to be set off by a cell phone. The bomb was discovered near Mt. Eval, near Shechem. IDF bomb squad experts removed the device and dismantled it.

There were no injuries in that incident, either.
