Over 30 Terror Incidents in 24 Hours

More than 30 terror incidents were recorded during the 24-hour period from Monday to Tuesday night, all across Yehudah and Shomron and along the Green Line.

B’chasdei Shamayim, no Israelis were injured, though significant property damage was reported.

Among the incidents were an attempted infiltration into Pisagot in the Binyamin region that was thwarted, and a bus attack near Kiryat Arba. Attacks occurred again on Route 443, and firebombs were thrown in Givat Zeev.

Disorder involving hundreds of Palestinians took place on Tuesday at the perimeter fence of Pisagot in Binaymin. The rioters tried to take down the fence and enter the Jewish town, but shots fired over their heads by security forces dispersed them. One of the Palestinians was shot and wounded as he attempted to climb over the fence.

A group of four terrorists approached the security fence in Givat Zeev, threw firebombs at Jewish homes, and then fled the area. Security forces caught two of them and brought them in for questioning. No one was hurt in the incident.

A bus belonging to the company for development of Har Chevron carrying passengers came under attack by rock throwers in the afternoon near Kiryat Arba. No one was hurt, but the bus was damaged.

Palestinians hurled rocks at Israeli vehicles traveling by Jiftlik in the Jordan Valley. Windows were shattered, but no injuries were reported.

On Highway 443 from Modi’in to Yerushalayim, on the section between Ofer Prison and Beit Horon, four incidents were reported involving firebombings and rock throwings at Israeli vehicles. Some damage to property occurred.

Firebombs were tossed at the gas station at the entrance to Beit El. No injuries or damage. It was the third time in two weeks that the station has come under attack.

Similar incidents occurred elsewhere in the country, at Kever Rachel, Salmona, and at the checkpoint at the entrance to the tunnels between Yerushalayim and Gush Etzion.

Overnight, IDF forces cooperating with the Border Police arrested 15 wanted men in various locations across Yehudah and Shomron. All were taken into custody for interrogation.
