A 27-year-old Israeli woman is in the hospital after being stabbed in Montreal’s Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) neighborhood early Wednesday morning, according to reports on Montreal media.

The attack occurred around 12:45 a.m., as the woman, who is from Israel and living in Montreal, was walking on Monkland Ave. near Girouard Avenue. The assailant, a 25-year-old man, stabbed her in the neck with a sharp object.
