Stabbing Attack Near Yerushalayim Prevented

A security guard prevented a stabbing attack on Shabbos morning at the entrance to Anatot, a Jewish town northeast of Yerushalayim, Channel One reported Motzoei Shabbos. The guard identified a 13-year-old female Arab terrorist holding out a knife in front of her and rushing through the fence into the town. The guard demanded that she stop. When she refused he opened fire, eliminating her.

An initial investigation indicated that the terrorist had fought with family members and threatened to kill herself. After she was shot, her father arrived at the scene, looking for her. He was taken in for questioning by the police.

On Friday night, terrorists opened fire at an IDF outpost near Chevron. B’chasdei Shamayim, no one was injured in the incident.
