An Arab terrorist on Thursday tried to stab soldiers at the entrance to Beit Anoun, an Arab village near Chevron – in exactly the same place where a similar stabbing attempt took place earlier in the week. Soldiers saw the terrorist approaching them with an exposed knife and warned him to stop, then shot him in the leg when he continued to advance. The injured terrorist was treated at the scene and taken into custody.

On Tuesday, a very similar incident took place. IDF troops shot and killed a terrorist who was attempting to stab soldiers at the Beit Anoun junction. The terrorist attempted to rush a group of soldiers at the side of the road. Lookouts detected him before he could carry out his attacks, and shot him when he ignored their warnings to stop. He died on the spot from his wounds.

Overnight Wednesday, IDF troops arrested a number of wanted terror suspects in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for engaging in rioting and throwing rocks and firebombs at Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.
