IDF forces eliminated two Palestinian terrorists Tuesday night, after each of them tried to run down soldiers at the Kalandiya checkpoint, north of Yerushalayim. In both of these nearly identical incidents, soldiers saw the cars approaching and failing to slow down when signaled to do so. Both times, the soldiers opened fire on the terrorists and killed them.

These vehicular terror attacks occurred while other soldiers were operating in a refugee camp nearby, searching for weapons. As the soldiers proceeded with the search, Arabs rioted and threw stones and firebombs at them. Three soldiers were lightly injured in the riots, possibly from friendly fire, security officials said.

Also overnight on Tuesday, IDF troops arrested 15 security suspects, wanted for their roles in rioting and terror attacks.
