Poll: Christie’s Job Approval Hits New Low
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is not finding the love back home while on the road campaigning for the Republican nomination for president.
Christie’s job approval has hit a new low in a Rutgers-Eagleton Poll released Friday.
They survey shows 33 percent of New Jersey’s registered voters approve of the job Christie is doing, while 62 percent disapprove.
That’s the lowest approval rating since Christie took office in 2010 and a drop of six points since October.
Christie also has hit new lows when registered voters are asked about his handling of taxes, the economy and jobs, the state budget, and the state pension funding issue.
The telephone survey of 700 registered voters has a sampling error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
