Two stabbing attempts occurred in Yerushalayim early on Tuesday afternoon in the space of minutes.

The first attack was a stabbing on the Light Rail at the Yekutial Adam station in Pisgat Ze’ev, not far from where the stabbing attack took place several weeks ago, also in Pisgat Ze’ev.

A 25-year-old security guard for the Light Rail suffered moderate injuries and is fully conscious; Magen David Adom (MDA) medics and security forces rushed to the scene, and he was taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Two Palestinian terrorists carried out the attack: one, a 13-year-old, has been apprehended, while the other, a 12-year-old, was seriously injured after security forces opened fire. He was taken to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Mere minutes later, yet another attempted stabbing took place, this time near Shaar Shechem in the Old City of Yerushalayim. Two security guards noticed an Arab man following them. They turned around to him, and he took out a knife and charged towards them. The terrorist was shot and died en route to the Hadaasah Har Hatzofim Hospital.

There were no Israeli injuries in the Shaar Shechem attack.
